Nepal loses to Afghanistan in spite of brilliant play

Nepal loosed to Afghanistan by one goal despite of the brilliant play throughout the match. The match went to the extra time after both the teams failed  to score in the normal time.This defeat crashed Nepal out of the SAFF  championship 2011.

Nepal dominated the first 30 minutes creating numerous changes and holding up the ball. Most of the shots were blocked by the afghan defenders. Jumanu Rai and Santosh Sahukhala  failed to break the Afghan defense while afghan strikers constantly went on counter attacks.
